 Joint research project between Dr. Prasanna B.D, Chemical Engg. Dept. of NITK and Dr. Antoinette P. Malan, Dept. of Conservative Ecology and Entomology, of Stellenbosch University, South Africa has been approved for funding. The project is being implemented under the framework of the agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the governments of the Republic of India and the Republic of South Africa. A grant of Rs. 28,16,230/- has been sanctioned for this collaborative research project entitled “In vitro mass culture of Steinernema jeffreyense, a biocontrol agent against key insect pests” by Department of Science & Technology, Govt. of India (DST/INT/South Africa/P-20/2016).
