The Cell by establishment has the following responsibilities :

• Monitoring Implementation of Reservation Roster
• Any other grievances of the members of both the communities

It is also entrusted with the following responsibilities:

• Coordinating Scholarship Schemes for the benefit of the students belonging to SCs/STs.
• Special Coaching for First Year B.Tech SC/ST Students
• Conducting/Coordinating Training Programmes for Students and Staff : Teaching and Non-Teaching
